Rutgers Vs. USF Score Update: Scarlet Knights Find Endzone, Lead 13-6

A team finally found the endzone in the third quarter in Thursday night's meeting between the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and South Florida Bulls. Scarlet Knights quarterback Gary Nova led Rutgers on a scoring drive midway through the third quarter and connected with receiver Mark Harrison as Rutgers leads USF 13-6 at the end of three quarters in Tampa Bay, Fla.

The two teams had traded field goals through the first two-and-a-half quarters with Bulls kicker Maikon Bonani and Scarlet Knights kicker Kyle Federico each connecting on two impressive kicks. In a noticably sloppy game, Rutgers has committed eight penalties, but had just one in the third quarter.

South Florida, led by quarterback B.J. Daniels (9-of-18 for 167 yards), has been unable to convert on some big pass plays and has yet to reach the endzone in part because of Daniels' three interceptions. Daniels has contributed on the ground, picking up 63 yards on 14 carries.
