Miami Heat's LeBron James was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for his play from Nov. 5-11, according to The Miami Herald's Joseph Goodman.

The Heat were 3-1 in that stretch. James averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds and six assists per game.

James has gotten the defending champion Heat off on the right foot this season. He's averaging 23.9 points per game and 6.1 assists. He's having his best rebounding season of his career so far, averaging 10 per game.

James is shooting 55 percent from the field. He leads the NBA in field goals made (77) and points scored (191).

The Heat are in the midst of a tough stretch. Miami will play five games in seven days when the week wraps up Saturday night in Phoenix. All five games are on the road.

Miami and James will be back in Miami next Wednesday when they host the Milwaukee Bucks.
