VIDEO: Dolphins sprinkler snafu turns into Buffalo Wild Wings commercial

It didn't take long for the sprinkler incident that took place in the third quarter of Miami's win over Seattle to make its way into a parody Buffalo Wild Wings commercial.

Reality imitated art on Sunday, during the Miami Dolphins' 24-21 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12.

Lawn sprinklers came on during the third quarter of play, halting play for a little bit, and startling players and officials.

It didn't take long for the Buffalo Wild Wings jokes to start rolling in on Twitter and across the internet, as the restaurant chain ran a series of commercials depicting nearly the exact same event -- except in Buffalo Wild Wings' commercial, it happened during a play, causing players to trip, and leading to a score that extended the game to overtime.

Regardless of the differences, a tech-savvy fan took the liberty of inserting actual game footage between Miami and Seattle into the commercial.

In all seriousness, it's a good thing this didn't actually happen during a play, otherwise it could potentially have led to some bizarre injury -- or altered the outcome of the game.

Nonetheless, it's still rather funny.

If only Buffalo Wild Wings ran a commercial with this Wednesday's Powerball numbers.
