TAMPA - The miracle in Ohio did not come without a price, as the Buccaneers offensive line suffered a blow with the loss of its anchor. Veteran starting Center Jeff Faine will miss at least three weeks with a quad injury sustained during the 24-21 win in Cincinnati this past Sunday.
Left Guard Jeremy Zuttah will fill in for Faine at center, making this the third position on the line that he has played with the Buccaneers. Zuttah handled the job reasonably well for three quarters following Faine's absence early in the second quarter Sunday. There may be some growing pains as this will mark the first time in a Buccaneer uniform that quarterback Josh Freeman will take snaps from anyone other than Faine.
Safety Sean Jones also left the game early with what were described as back spasms, giving way to Sabby Piscatelli. Head coach Raheem Morris told the media that he expects Jones to be fine and ready to go Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
