Saints At Buccaneers: Fantasy Focus

The Saints continue to be a vexing team to figure out for fantasy owners, as other than Brees, no one that touches the football displays much in the way of every-week consistency. To wit, last week Colston and Meachem awoke from their collective slumber to put up nice numbers, while players like Moore and Shockey touched the ball less than usual. Shockey did score a touchdown, and has probably been the most consistent point-producer among the targets. The running game is something of a mystery thanks to injuries, and it’s hard to tell what factor Jones’ presence will have on the distribution of carries. The Saints defense and their kickers have been disappointing.

On the Tampa Bay side, Winslow is a credible fantasy tight end, and the rookie wideout Williams is evolving into a quality play as well. Otherwise, there’s not much to recommend the Bucs from a fantasy perspective.
