When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints on Sunday, they’re hoping they’ll have the services of three dinged up players. Wide receiver Mike Williams, running back Earnest Graham, and reserve defensive lineman Kyle Moore all missed practice on Thursday with different but equally nagging injuries.
Graham (hamstring), Williams (foot), and Moore (shoulder) are all listed as day-to-day. Head coach Raheem Morris said on Thursday that he’s expecting at least two of the three (Graham, Williams) to play on Sunday:
“He should be okay,. We’re just protecting him a little bit and holding him back,‘’ Morris said of Graham. "Just sore, man. You know, older legs Earnest likes to walk around a pretend that he’s 22 but he’s not. He’s just a little sore. I think he’s day-to-day and I think he’ll be fine. We look forward to seeing him this weekend.’’
As for Moore, who re-aggravated a previous shoulder injury, the Buccaneers are taking a wait-and-see approach:
“We’ll get a chance to get a better evaluation tomorrow,‘’ Morris said. "It bothered him early in the preseason. It got to him a little bit. He banged it up a little against Pittsburgh.’’
