LeGarrette Blount's Blunder Tightens Score

Rookie running back LeGarrette Blount scored his second career touchdown on a 15 yard scamper late in the third quarter, capping an 80 yard 8 play drive and extending the Buccaneer lead to 31-14. But it would be his mistake shortly thereafter that tightens the score.

The Cardinal’s answered Blounts score quickly on a LaRod Stevens-Howling 30-yard scamper to cut the deficit to10. On the ensuing Buccaneer drive Blount apparently fumbled the football and Gerald Hayes recovered and returned it for a Cardinal’s touchdown. The fumble was upheld by replay and the Cardinals now trail by only 3, 31-28.

The Buccaneer’s have the football heading into the fourth quarter in a game mired by turnovers from both teams.
