Roddy White, who’s coming off an 11 reception, 200-plus yards and two touchdown performance when the Atlanta Falcons last played in Week 7, is looking forward to playing the young, ball-hawking Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ secondary. The NFL’s reception leader (54), smiled while saying he liked going up against aggressive secondaries that risk exposing themselves deep:
“You like those guys, you always get chances to throw the ball over their heads,” White said, speaking generally about aggressive defensive backs. “You anticipate.”
White mentioned that the Falcons might try to pick on Aqib Talib, who’s on a roll with five interceptions already this year:
" We’ll have some stuff in the playbook, especially for him, so we can get the ball down the field and over his head," White said. “Hopefully we hit ‘em. If we hit ’em we won’t have any problems the rest of the game.”
Who’s ready for Sunday?!?
