Buccaneers A Mess In Washington, Trail 10-3

Perhaps those defensive injuries have finally become too much for the Buccaneers? After losing Aqib Talib last week, and Gerald McCoy early in this game the Buccaneers have been completely run over by Redskins RB Ryan Torain to the tune of 158 yards on 18 carries in just the first half of play. Torain has been running through gaping holes all day as the Buccaneers can’t seem to find any way to stop him.

Thankfully, the Redskins have done the Buccaneers a couple of favors. Kicker Graham Gano has missed 2 field goals, and some questionable clock management by Washington at the end of the 2nd quarter led to a field goal instead of a potential touchdown, keeping the game at a one score deficit, 10-3.

The only positive for the Buccaneers has been a Connor Barth field goal following an Arrelious Benn 64 yard strike. Freeman has been shaky, and LeGarrette Blount has a fumble to go with 46 yards on 7 carries.
