The injury bug has become a full fledged monster. The Tampa Bay Buccaneer defense is beyond snake bitten as they today suffered what appears to be two more season ending injuries on the defensive side of the ball.
Following the dramatic 17-16 win in Washington, the Bucs will add rookie DT Gerald McCoy, and standout LB Quincy Black to the already lengthy Injured Reserve list.
McCoy, who was having a strong second half to his rookie season left the game early in the first half with a torn triceps. Black broke his arm in the second half.
The Buccaneers have now lost 6 starters for the season in the last three weeks.
