The Injuries continue to mount for the battered Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they learned today that rookie wide receiver Arrelious Benn will head to Injured Reserve with a torn ligament in his knee, suffered during the dismantling of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Head coach Raheem Morris called the loss “disappointing”, saying that he hoped Benn would get a full offseason of work with the offense. Benn will now have to spend most of his offseason rehabbing his injured knee.
The rookie wideout was having a great second half, catching 25 passes for 395 yards and two touchdowns.
Fullback Earnest Graham also suffered a neck injury during the game Sunday, he is being called “week-to-week”.
