So much for renewed Tampa Bay Buccaneer optimism...
This Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be locally blacked out and not able to be seen on television.
This is the second black out for the Bucs on the young season. Despite a match up featuring two undefeated teams and a very popular visiting club the Bucs fell "several thousand" tickets short of a sell out.
Teams are given until 1pm Thursday to sell out all non club seats or the NFL blacks out the game. The Buccaneers did not ask for an extension to help sell the remaining tickets. Teams are also given the opportunity to purchase unsold seats at 33 cents on the dollar, an option that the Glazers apparently declined.
The game can be watched on NFL.com after midnight Sunday evening.
