NFL Power Rankings: Buccaneers Reach No. 8 On FOX Sports List

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers improved to 3-1 with their 24-17 win against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. The victory certainly got the attention of FOX Sports analyst and former NFL coach Brian Billick. He bumped Tampa Bay up three spots to No. 8 in his rankings, the biggest move of any team this week. His assessment of the Bucs is as follows:

Tampa Bay just finds a way to win, and Monday night it was behind the shoulder pads of RB LeGarrette Blount. This offense has yet to put together a complete game, yet they are still 3-1. The defensive line looks like a unit that boasts the Bucs' top two draft picks from the last two drafts.

Tampa Bay is still tied with the New Orleans Saints, whom Billick ranks No. 2 overall, for the NFC South lead. The Bucs face the Saints twice in the next five weeks. Mark your calendars, if you haven't already.

Elsewhere in the NFC South, the 2-2 Atlanta Falcons moved up to No. 11, while the 1-3 Carolina Panthers improved two spots to No. 21.
