The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Green Bay this weekend to take on the Packers this weekend. Coming off a run of sub-par football, very few if any give them a shot to even remain competitive against the undefeated Packers. Here is just a sampling of some of the picks from around the Internet, starting with our partners at OddsShark.
Tampa Bay won its last trip to Lambeau back in 2005 but before that, the Buccaneers had lost 13 straight SU at Green Bay. Which streak resumed in Week 11 in this Battle of the Bays where the home team will be favored huge? The Bucs are 7-2 ATS past 9 November road games, but their hosts have dominated at home (Packers are 12-3 ATS past 15 at home). And the last time Green Bay lost as a double-digit fave, it was in 2009 vs Tampa Bay. Something to worry about for the 9-0 Pack? Maybe not.
Next from Yahoo, who seem even less confident in the Bucs' ability to make this one a contest .
It almost seems unfair to discuss this game because most of us already know what the outcome will be. Even though the Packers' defense has been less than stellar, no has been able to hold their offense in check, which is a big reason as to why they are 9-0. The Buccaneers, on the other hand, have been an up and down team that plays well one week and not so great the next.
Finally the Sporting News, and much like the previous two, they expect a near blowout as well.
Josh Freeman has some of the same skills as Aaron Rodgers—a strong arm, mobility, accuracy—but unfortunately for the Bucs, he hasn't showed any of that at a consistently high level this season. Tampa Bay is having trouble stretching the field, which certainly hasn't been an issue for Green Bay with Rodgers at the helm. They should shoot out to a big lead with some big pass plays and force Freeman into an uncomfortable catchup situation against Clay Matthews and Charles Woodson. Packers 41, Buccaneers 14.
