Josh Freeman Fantasy Projection: Tampa Bay QB Could Be In For Rough Start Against Packers

The struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-5) head to Lambeau Field Sunday afternoon to face the Green Bay Packers (9-0), against a Packers defense that is coming off a dominating performance against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10. This does not ode well for Buccaneers signal caller Josh Freeman.

The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Freeman as just the 13th best option at quarterback this weekend. The Tampa Bay QB's projected stats: 19.78/32.20, 225.58 yds, 1.34 TDs, 1.16 INTs for 13.79 pts.

Freeman threw 205 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Houston Texans, but also threw three interceptions. The Tampa Bay quarterback has been bothered by a sprained thumb all season, perhaps accounting for some of his 13 interceptions through nine games.

For the year, Freeman has completed 208 of 340 pass attempts for 2,174 yards and nine touchdowns.
