LeGarrette Blount Fantasy Projection: Buccaneers RB Rated As Just 23rd Best Option In Week 11

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to snap a three game losing skid in Week 11, but to do so they will need to beat the undefeated Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. A solid ground performance from Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount would certainly help the cause, as it would keep the high-powered Packers offense off the field, but current fantasy projections do not see a big game out of Blount.

Part of that is caused by the anemic performance of the Tampa Bay offense on the season: the Bucs 156 total points on the year are just 12 less than the Packers have scored all season. The other part is a rejuvenated Green Bay defense: the Packers held star Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson to 51 yards on 14 carries last week.

The fantasy football projection site numberFire ranks Blount as just the 23rd best play at running back in Week 11. The Buccaneers RB's projected stats: 11.28 car, 46.36 yds, 2.27 rec for 17.63 yds, 0.39 TDs for 8.58 pts.

In his two games since returning from a knee injury, Blount has totaled just 106 yards on 23 carries.
