As the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prepare to face the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night, they'll be doing so without starting wideout Arrelious Benn according to Stephen Holder of TampaBay.com.
Starting wide receiver Arrelious Benn, the No. 1 flanker, will sit out with concussion-related issues. He sustained the concussion last week against the Jags, and Morris said he responded well to the requisite tests players must pass to return to action. Still, the decision has been made that he won't play.
Holder says the injury to Benn will likely open the door to Dez Briscoe, who has 23 receptions for the Bucs this season. Benn has 29 receptions for 437 yards and two touchdowns so far in 2011. Keep an eye on how his absence effects Tampa Bay's offense.
