With the NFL Lockout preventing free agents from signing a new contract, some players are starting to look towards the future and helping out at schools around the country. Former Bucs DT Chris Hovan is already working towards a career in coaching, as he's been helping out around USF as an intern with the Strength & Conditioning Program.
↵Chris has been helping USF since spring practice, where he was a volunteer assistant with the defensive line. After the end of spring camp, Hovan has been under the tutelage of Head S&C Coach Mike Golden, and has since started working in the weight room and pushing everyone during summer workouts. Hovan seems to enjoy helping out the players, and his experience in the NFL is invaluable to an extremely young Bulls defensive line.
↵I hope Chris can find some work if/when the lockout is lifted. If not, it'll be nice seeing Hovan back on the sidelines at Raymond James.
