One of the few highlights for the Buccaneers in an ugly first half against the New England Patriots was Mason Foster's decleating hit of veteran receiver Chad Ochocinco. Foster, who was beat out of position for Tom Brady's first touchdown pass, would atone by showing that physical presence Bucs fans have been hearing about all training camp by laying a vicious, but clean, hit on Ochocinco forcing an incompletion. Unfortunately, the referee saw it differently, giving Foster a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
↵Foster expressed his frustration with the NFL officiating in post-game remarks, telling the press that he would not let penalties alter his game.
↵↵↵I can’t worry about it because I think you just gotta play. I don’t think I hit him with my helmet, [Coaches and Teammates] have been telling me to not let the penalty alter my game. … Hopefully, they don’t fine me. I don’t have any money yet.

Foster apparently won't have to worry about paying any possible fine as Ochocinco himself took to twitter Friday morning to let Foster know he's a fan.
↵↵↵@Ochocinco: @Mason_Foster great hit last night,if u're fined I'll reimburse u boss.That's the way the game should b played.Stay healthy n have a good yr

Ochocinco reminding fans again why he has become one of the games most likable players, and Foster showing some early promise.
