2011 NFL Over/Under Win Totals -- Buccaneers Perceived As .500 Team

We're exactly one month away from the start of the 2011 NFL season, and just one month and three days away from the first full Sunday of football. With rosters more or less set and the preseason schedule set to begin, Bodog has released Over/Under win totals for all 32 NFL teams. Let's take a look at what the oddsmakers at Bodog think of Tampa Bay's prospects in the wake of their surprising 10-6 season a year ago.

On the surface, seems like the Buccaneers would be a good bet to surpass 8 wins, but even though Raheem Morriss' young team is clearly pointed in the right direction, it might be tough for the young upstart Bucs to replicate their '10 success just yet. Tampa Bay faces a tough out-of-conference slate of games against the AFC South. Indianapolis and Houston will certainly be tough outs despite being home games, and Jacksonville and Tennessee -- teams the Bucs matchup fairly well again -- are on the road where wins are harder to come by. Throw in a tough road game at San Francisco on a short week following Monday Night Football, and two more tough road tilts at Minnesota and Green Bay and the Buccaneers certainly look like they'll have their work cut out for them. That's of course before even talking about the two teams they'll be chasing in the NFC South -- the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

It's a fun time to be a Buccaneers fan. After several years of mediocrity, the Bucs look to be positioned nicely for the foreseeable future. But Josh Freeman & Co. may find that it's tough to match or better their 10-win season from a year ago.
