Buccaneers Coaching Search: Marty Schottenheimer To Interview With Bucs

The Buccaneers appear dead set to bring in a coach who has a pretty big name and some experience around the league. The latest name that we are hearing is the venerable Marty Schottenheimer, who has about as much experience around the league as anybody. Here is how our Bucs Nation blog reacted to the prospect of bringing Schottenheimer on board. All things considered, they seem pretty positive about the idea of it.

Schottenheimer's extensive experience does mean that he has built one heck of a coaching tree through the years and would certainly be able to assemble a first-class coaching staff. In addition, he has never failed to deliver success during the regular season - and even a single playoff berth would be an improvement right now.

Schottenheimer would certainly be a big name, and if the Bucs are trying to separate themselves from Raheem Morris, it doesn't get much further than Marty Schottenheimer.
