Report: Chip Kelly to Become Bucs Next Head Coach

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in talks with Oregon Ducks head coach Chip Kelly to be their next head coach, according to a report by Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times.

The deal is not yet official, but the two parties are in discussions to work out a deal. According to Stroud, the two hope to agree on a contract within the next 24-48 hours. According to Stroud Kelly met the Bucs ownership and the general manager earlier this week.

Kelly has been the head coach for the Oregon Ducks for the past three seasons, winning the Pac-12 in each season. Kelly also won the award for Coach Of The Year in 2009 and 2010. Prior to being the head coach at Oregon, Kelly was the school's offensive coordinator from 2007 to 2008.
