Buccaneers Coaching Search: Mike Sherman Invited Back For Second Interview

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still getting over the hurt of being spurned by Oregon head coach Chip Kelly, but they have already moved on to their secondary coaches, and according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Mike Sherman will be brought in for a second interview. But that doesn't mean he is the only person left in the field.

Former Green Bay Packers and Texas A&M coach Mike Sherman is the first to be called for a second interview for the Bucs head coaching job and obviously a finalist. But the Bucs have not contacted a single coach they interviewed to inform them that they are no longer under consideration, the Times has learned.

Sherman wouldn't be the big splash that many Buccaneers fans might have been waiting for, especially considering he was just fired from his last job, but he would be a solid coach with plenty of head coaching experience.
