Greg Schiano is a relative new comer to the Bucs coaching search, he hasn't been getting the air-time that some of his other candidates have. But according to this report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, he is their coach for the position and the two sides are working towards finalizing a deal.
Filed to ESPN: Tampa Bay plans to hire Rutgers coach Greg Schiano as the next Buccaneers head coach. Two sides trying to finalize contract.

We've been own this road before with an Collegiate coach that the Bucs were working to finalize a contract with, but we all remember how that one turned out. So I would caution Bucs fans not to get their hopes up. But Rutgers isn't the same kind of situation as Oregon, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Schiano elects to leave. The level of success he can have as a head coach at the NFL level remains to be seen.
