Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright suffered a head injury in Sunday's loss to the Washington Redskins, and he was not able to return to the game. It is unknown at this point whether or not the injury will force Wright to miss future playing time.

Wright, who is in his sixth NFL season and first with the Buccaneers, has started all four games this season. He has 15 tackles and one interception, which he returned for a touchdown.
Additionally, Bucs linebacker Lavonte David suffered an apparent hand injury during the game. The rookie out of Nebraska has been important to Tampa Bay's defense in the early stages of the season -- he's started every game for the team and has a total of 33 tackles.
With the loss to the Redskins, the Bucs have now lost three consecutive games following their Week 1 win over the Panthers. They're off in Week 5 and will resume play against the Chiefs in Week 6.
