Buccaneers vs. Chiefs score: Josh Freeman finds Mike Williams, Tampa Bay leads Kansas City 7-0

Mike Williams nabbed a 62-yard touchdown pass from Josh Freeman with just seconds left in the first quarter in Tampa to give the Buccaneers an early 7-0 lead over the Chiefs.

The Bucs blocked a punt and intercepted Chiefs fill-in starter Brady Quinn in the first quarter in Tampa but couldn't get onto the scoreboard until Freeman and Williams connected on the long catch-and-run.

After the Chiefs' first drive went three-and-out, Ronde Barber blocked Dustin Colquitt's punt to put the ball in Freeman's hands on the Kansas City 31-yard line, but Justin Houston intercepted Freeman's badly underthrown pass five plays later to give Kansas City the ball right back.

Tampa Bay then snuffed out the Chiefs' drive when Mark Barron got his first career interception. The seventh pick in the 2012 draft went airborne and came down with the ball when Quinn's pass bounced off the hands of tight end Steve Maneri in the red zone.

Here's a gif of Williams' touchdown:
