The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stopped their fall down the Power Rankings lists by defeating the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Buccaneers did slightly rise in some rankings, but did fall in one. In the SB Nation Power Rankings, the Buccaneers stayed idle at No. 23. Writer Joel Thorman believes that even though the Buccaneers won, who they beat wasn't all that impressive:
Everyone blows the Chiefs out.
On ESPN.com's Power Rankings, the Buccaneers rose one spot to No. 22. NFC West blogger Mike Sando brought up an interesting factoid about quarterback Josh Freeman's performance:
Josh Freeman is the first Bucs QB since Trent Dilfer in 1998 with two 60-yard-plus TD passes in the same game.
On Fox Sports' Power Rankings, the Buccaneers are ranked at No. 24, up one spot from last week. Brian Billick thinks that the offensive chemistry is starting to come around:
Josh Freeman and Mike Williams finally showed the chemistry they displayed in 2010, and the RB combination of LaGarrette Blount and Doug Martin is balancing out.
In NFL.com's power rankings, the Buccaneers are ranked at No. 25 and actually fell down three spots from last week. The Buccaneers next play the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium.
