The Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw no major injuries on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. The Bucs remained healthy for the week, a small consolation in the gut-wrenching loss.
The Bucs did have a number of players inactive on Sunday. On offense, guard Cody Wallace, tight end Danny Noble, wide receiver Chris Owusu, and running back Michael Smith all sat out. For the defense, linebackers Najee Goode and Jacob Cutrera, and saftery Keith Tandy all missed the game against the Saints.
Head coach Greg Schiano didn't mention injuries specifically in his Monday press conference, but was asked about defensive end Da'Quan Bowers. Schiano commented that the second-year player of Clemson has yet to see the field this season because he has not been medically cleared to play. Bowers did practice last week, six months after rupturing his achilles.
The loss on Sunday dropped the Bucs to 2-4, and they now must travel to Minnesota to face the 5-2 Minnesota Vikings.
