The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to play the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. The Buccaneers are coming off a 35-28 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 14 In that game, quarterback Josh Freeman completed 24-of-42 passes for 420 yards and three touchdowns. Running back Doug Martin carried the ball 16 times for 85 yards and a touchdown as well.
The last time these two teams played each other was on Sept. 18 last season, where the Buccaneers won 24-20 on a 4-yard touchdown run by LeGarrette Blount with 31 seconds left in the fourth quarter. Freeman completed 22-of-31 passes for 243 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The defense was not able to slow down Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who ran 25 times for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
