NFL power rankings, Week 12: Buccaneers rise to No. 11

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers closed in on the top 10 in the SB Nation NFL power rankings. Where do the other teams in Florida stack up?

After going to Charlotte this past week and beating the Carolina Panthers in overtime, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were rewarded by Joel Thorman by moving them up three spots to No. 11 in the SB Nation NFL power rankings. In the article, Thorman stated that he believed that the Buccaneers haven't gotten the attention that they deserve, now at 6-4 and how well the offense has played:

I still think the Bucs are being underrated. They're not being talked about enough. This is a top five offense right now.

As for other teams in the Sunshine State. The Miami Dolphins, who took a loss to the Buffalo Bills last Thursday, stayed idle at No. 21 from the last week. Thorman thinks the Dolphins, who are in a three-way tie for second place in the AFC East, would achieve something if they find a way to finish in second outright:

Finishing second in the AFC East would be an accomplishment.

As for the Jacksonville Jaguars, a hard-fought, 43-37 loss to the Houston Texans, ranked No. 1 this week, was enough to convince Thorman that the Jaguars did not belong in the basement. He ranked them No. 31 this week wondering if quarterback Chad Henne was going to take over for Blaine Gabbert:

The Chad Henne era is here. We hope.
