Falcons vs. Buccaneers: Game time, TV schedule, injury updates and more

The Buccaneers are healthy and have all of the momentum going into Sunday's huge divisional contest against the Falcons.

Ezra Shaw

The 6-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the 9-1 Atlanta Falcons in a key NFC South contest on Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs will be shooting for their fifth consecutive victory.

Tampa Bay enters the game relatively healthy, with cornerback Eric Wright as the only real injury concern. Wright was limited in practice on Friday with a sore Achilles tendon, and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.

The Falcons, meanwhile, have a much longer list of injuries. Wide receiver Julio Jones (ankle) heads that list, which also includes linebacker Sean Weatherspoon (ankle), cornerback Asante Samuel (shoulder), and defensive tackles Peria Jerry (shoulder) and Vance Walker (ribs). With the exception of Jerry, who sat out on Friday, each player practiced on a limited basis. All five players are listed as questionable. Running back Michael Turner is also on the injury report with a sore groin. His status is listed as probable.

Game time, TV channel: 1 p.m. ET, FOX

Radio: WFUS 103.5, WDAE 620 AM

Point Spread: Falcons favored by 1½.
