Buccaneers vs. Raiders score: Oakland leads Tampa Bay, 3-0, after 1st quarter

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trail the Oakland Raiders, 3-0, after one quarter of play at O.co Coliseum. Momentum took a swing in the Raiders' favor when Connor Barth's 35-yard field goal attempt was blocked and returned 33 yards by Lamarr Houston to set Oakland up in Tampa Bay territory.

Oakland quickly reached the redzone on the ensuing drive, but stalled and couldn't capitalize with a touchdown. The Raiders had to settle for a 28-yard field goal from Sebastian Janikowski to move in front.

The Bucs will have the ball at the start of the second quarter. Tampa Bay was helped into Oakland territory on their previous drive by a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Josh Freeman hit Vincent Jackson on a 65-yard pass to set up the Bucs at the start of the second quarter. Jackson was hit with a taunting penalty on the play.

Both teams are trying to reach .500 on the year and keep up in their conference playoff races.
