NFL Power Rankings, Week 14: Bad weekend for Bucs, Dolphins, and Jags

The Bucs, Dolphins, and Jaguars all lost this weekend, which means none of them gained any ground in the new edition of the SB Nation NFL power rankings.

US PRESSWIRE

The Week 14 edition of the SB Nation NFL power rankings are out, and it was not a good weekend for the Florida teams. Each one of them lost, and of the three, only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to have a realistic shot of making the playoffs.

The Buccaneers fell from 12th to 15th in the rankings following their 31-23 loss to the Denver Broncos. It certainly wasn't an embarrassing loss, as the Broncos are one of the best teams in the NFL, but it leaves them on the outside looking in regarding the NFC playoff picture.

The Miami Dolphins lost to the Patriots on Sunday, 23-16, but managed to stay at 20 in the power rankings. Like the Bucs, they're on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs, but they're two games behind the Steelers for the last wildcard spot with four games remaining.

The Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Bills 34-18, but held on to their spot at 30 in the power rankings. The loss drops them to 2-10 on the season, and a bad season in Jacksonville continues to roll along.
