The NFL Draft is getting here every so slowly. but the Mock Drafts are coming in faster than ever! The latest is from Walter Football, and they have a bit of a surprising pick for the Jaguars. But first, the Buccaneers and Morris Claiborne, which has now just become a necessity at this point.
All indications are that the Buccaneers will definitely consider a cornerback in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Aqib Talib could be going to jail, while Ronde Barber will probably retire this offseason. The corner position is a dire need for Tampa.
Next the Jaguars, who reach significantly for Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright.
The Jaguars drafted Tyson Alualu, a second-round prospect, at No. 10 overall two years ago. That was a bigger reach than this, so please don't think that this can't happen.
Finally the Dolphins, who take Quinton Coples from North Carolina, a pick that is starting to make a lot more sense.
Mocking Quinton Coples to the Dolphins didn't make much sense a month ago, but new head coach Joe Philbin announced that he wants to convert this defense to a 4-3. That's a very strange move, given that Miami's stop unit wasn't the problem last year. I already thought the Philbin hire was a curious one to begin with, given the horrible event that just occurred in his life; his illogical moves make my belief stronger.
