2012 NFL Combine Results: UCF's Josh Robinson Takes Home Fastest 40-Yard Time

In Combine news of local interest, former Central Florida defensive back Josh Robinson took home the fastest 40-yard dash time of the 2012 NFL Combine, clocking in at 4.33 seconds.

Robinson was also a top performer in the broad jump, as his 11-foot-1-inch leap tied for the best among all participants with Georgia Tech Wide Receiver Stephen Hill. Robinson ranked 11th in vertical jump with a 38.5-inch mark.

Robinson's Combine scouting report notes his incredible athletic ability, but mentioned that he would need to run well to separate himself from the deep pack of defensive backs. With numbers like that, you have to believe his stock will go up from the "fifth-round value" he entered the Combine with.

In other local Combine news, former Miami wide receiver Travis Benjamin was right behind Robinson in the speed department. His 40-yard dash time of 4.36 seconds was second among all Combine participants.
