NFL Draft Combine 2012: Florida Football Will Be Represented By Three Players

The 2012 NFL Draft Combine list of participants was officially announced Tuesday, and three Florida Gators football players -- running back Jeff Demps, defensive tackle Jaye Howard and wide receiver Chris Rainey -- will try to impressive NFL scouts, franchise's front office personnel and experts Feb. 22-28 in at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.

Currently, the Gator moving up the draft board the most is Rainey, who switched from a running back to a wide receiver and performed well at that position during the Senior Bowl. According to NFLDraftScouts.com, Rainey is currently a 3-4th round draft pick, but could vault up board with a strong showing in Indy.

Meanwhile, Howard is projected as a 6-7th round pick by NFL Draft Scouts and will need a good performance to make sure he gets selected during the three-day event in April.

Demps ' name was on the NFL Combine list, but he made it clear that he'd like to pursue the Olympics instead of the NFL Draft.
