Trent Richardson Projected To The Bucs In 2012 NFL Mock Draft

New Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano will looking be to change the fortunes of his new team in 2012. To help him accomplish this task, CBS Sports Rob Rang believes the Bucs will look to select Alabama running back Trent Richardson. According to his recently released 2012 NFL Mock Draft, Rang thinks the team will grab Richardson in order to provide Schiano with another weapon and added depth at the running back position.

The Bucs have plenty of pressing needs, as they are coming off a 4 win,12 loss season and currently own the fifth pick in April's draft. In current starting running back LaGarrette Blount, the team has a player who carried the load and exceeded projections in his 2010 rookie campaign, but struggled in 2011. Rang believes Richardson is capable of making an immediate impact for the Bucs and will take pressure of quarterback Josh Freeman as he continues his development.
