2012 NFL Mock Draft: Where Do Buccaneers Turn If Morris Claiborne Is Unavailable?

The 2012 NFL Draft is getting closer and closer every day, but we're still a ways off so we still have to cling to our Mock Drafts. The latest is from our very own Draft site Mocking the Draft, and they have some interesting choices for the Florida teams. Morris Claiborne has become a near unanimous pick for the Buccaneers at No. 5, but in this mock he is off the boar.d So they have the Bucs taking Trent Richardson to help the run game.

Trent Richardson makes a ton of sense for the Buccaneers. LaGarrette Blount is definitely more of a situational running back, and Trent Richardson is the top prospect available at this pick with Morris Claiborne off the board.

Next up are the Jaguars, and this pick has been pretty much agreed upon, at least by those who don't make the decisions. The Jaguars need pass rush and North Carolina's Quinton Coples is still available.

There are some concerns about Coples' motor, but he dominated at the Senior Bowl, and odds are in favor of him being a top-ten pick in April. The Jacksonville Jaguars have been searching for an elite pass rusher for a while, and with Jeremy Mincey becoming a free agent, the need could be even more glaring by the time the draft rolls around.

Finally the Dolphins, who take Jonathan Martin of Stanford, another pick which has become very popular.

Regardless of who the Dolphins decide to put under center in 2012, the team will need to provide better protection for their signal caller. Jonathan Martin is definitely a step below both Matt Kalil and Riley Reiff, but with the value of offensive linemen increasing all the time, Martin should find his way into the top ten.
