Ronde Barber Re-Signs With Tampa Bay Buccaneers, According To Report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been very active in free agency, but they were able to make a quiet move on Wednesday bringing back long time cornerback Ronde Barber for his 16th NFL season, all with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to a report by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports.

Barber, the Buccaneers cornerback who had been mulling retirement, has decided that he will return for his 16th season in Tampa Bay, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports.

Barber has started for the Bucs since the 1998 season and has been a key to their defense during his career. Even as Barber's age has increased, his play has not really declined all that much. Barber contemplated retirement, but the Bucs were able to get him to return for another season.
