2012 NFL Mock Draft: Dolphins Get Ryan Tannehill In Don Banks New Mock

As we inch closer and closer to the 2012 NFL Draft, we're starting to see more of what it looks like teams are going to do in the NFL Draft. The Miami Dolphins have been a tough team to pick for in mock drafts, but Don Banks of Sports Illustrated thinks they're going to get their quarterback of the future in his SI's latest 2012 NFL Mock Draft.

8 - Miami Dolphins - Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M

If the Dolphins do land Tannehill, one of the takeaways will be that Miami obviously had more faith in new offensive coordinator Mike Sherman's evaluation of Tannehill's potential than new head coach Joe Philbin's evaluation of Matt Flynn's potential.

Tannehill lasting until No. 8 overall is the best case scenario for the Dolphins, but there is growing belief that the quarterback could be drafted as high as No. 4 by the Cleveland Browns or another team could trade up for him and leap the Miami Dolphins.
