The Tampa Bay Buccaneers recently made a very nice gesture to Jill Hobbs, who has been working for the Bucs franchise since before the Bucs even played their first NFL game. Hobbs was hired by the Bucs in April of 1976 and has spent the last 35-years with the franchise.
The Glazer family, who now owns the team, have Hobbs a No. 35 Bucs jersey with her name on the back, but that wasn't the only gift she received.
Not only did Hobbs receive a custom Bucs jersey, but the Glazers also decided to present her with a check for $35,000. That's $1,000 for each year she has worked for the franchise. Hobbs now serves as the Buccaneers' Player Benefits & Alumni Programs Manager, but has served various other areas of the Bucs organization through her years with the franchise.
