2012 NFL Draft: Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland Has 'Pretty Good Feeling' About Who He Will Take

The 2012 NFL Draft is now under a week away, and the Dolphins still have a lot of options as to what they may do with their No. 8 overall selection. According to Brian Biggane of the Palm Beach Post, Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland says he has a pretty good idea of what he is going to do with that pick, but then kind of contradicts himself in the next sentence.

During his annual pre-draft press conference that lasted nearly 30 minutes, Ireland said he and his staff finalized their draft board Wednesday night and that he has "a pretty good feeling at what I want at eight."

But, he added, "Every time I see another good player, that's a consideration at eight. I'm like, 'Wooh, that would be a good player to have.' There's some really good players in this year's draft, especially in the top 10. Some real impact players."

Anybody beyond the first couple of picks can't really know what is going to happen with their selection because they don't know which trades will happen before them or which players will be taken in the spots preceding theres. But at least Ireland has a good feeling about it.
