Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sign Mark Barron, According To Report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were finally able to sign their first round draft pick, as Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that Mark Barron and the team have come to terms.

The No. 7 overall pick of the 2012 NFL Draft will receive a fully-guaranteed contract, including a signing bonus of $8.961 million. His base salary over the four-year deal will be $390,000 in 2012, $1.047 million in 2013, $1.705 million in 2014 and $2.362 million in 2015.

Barron was a standout safety at Alabama, leading to his selection in the top-10 picks of the draft. He is now expected to arrive to training camp on time later this month.
