Buccaneers Training Camp News: Doug Martin Ahead Of LeGarrette Blount In Running Back Battle, According To Report

Although Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano said he hasn't made a decision about who will be the starting running back for the team in 2012, Tom Krasinqi of WDAE in Tampa reports that Doug Martin has a leg up on teammate LeGarrette Blount for the starting position.

Krasinqui, along with many other Tampa Bay beat writers, feels that Martin has been very impressive in camp so far and it appears that the job is his to lose.

Martin has shown his great versatility as he has excelled as a rusher, pass receiver, and pass blocker. Until Blount shows the same skills, or has an injury, he will continue to be behind Martin as the season begins.
