LeGarrette Blount Injury: Bucs RB Returns To Practice

Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans should be relieved to hear that running back LeGarrette Blount returned to practice on Monday after suffering a groin injury in the second quarter of Friday's preseason game against the Tennessee Titans. Although the injury initially appeared to be serious, Blount participated in all full-contact drills with no issues, according to Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times.

I feel good, I just came out to practice today to see how it would feel, and it didn't feel bad.

If this is indeed the case, Blount should be ready to go for the Bucs' next preseason game on Friday against the New England Patriots. Blount is currently in the middle of a competition for the top running back on the team along with fellow back Doug Martin.
