The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have one more stop on their preseason tour, as they will head to the nation's capital on Wednesday to take on the Washington Redskins.
For Tampa Bay, it will be a chance to see what Robert Griffin III has to offer and see how their own first-round pick, Doug Martin, does in another test.
Game Time: 7:00 PM, EST
Location: FedExField
Players To Watch: Josh Freeman, Michael Smith, Ted Larsen
There have been recent concerns about Freeman's accuracy after a subpar preseason. Whether there is legitimate reason to worry or not, a strong performance in Freeman's final preseason game would go a long way toward building everyone's confidence.
One of the biggest surprises for the Buccaneers this preseason has been running back Michael Smith. With blazing speed, Smith has averaged 5.31 yards per carry this preseason and should have plenty of time to shine against Washington.
Finally, with Davin Joseph out, Ted Larsen is expected to slide into his starting role. Wednesday is a big test to see if Tampa Bay loses anything on offense with the change to the line.
