The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are struggling against the Washington Redskins in Sunday's game, down at halftime, 21-6. Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III is outplaying Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman so far, with Griffin completing 77 percent of his passes for 126 yards.
Freeman is just 11-of-19 for 80 passing yards and an interception. Even with Griffin throwing the ball well, all of the Redskins' scores have come on rushing touchdowns and a fumble recovery. After the Bucs cracked the scoreboard first with a 50-yard field goal by Connor Barth, the Washington offense went to work.
Pierre Garcon recovered an RGIII fumble for a touchdown to score the Redskins' first points. Griffin ran for a five-yard touchdown score in the second quarter, and Alfred Morris took off on the left side for a 39-yard touchdown run .
Barth finished off the half with another field goal, this time from 57 yards out, to cut into the Redskins' lead.
