The struggling Tampa Bay Lightning (12-15-2, 26 points) return to the St. Pete Times Forum for two games before embarking on another road trip.
The brief homestand--on the heels of a four-game, six-night trip up the east coast in which the team went 1-3--begins Monday against the New Jersey Devils (14-13-1, 29 points) who have themselves struggled of late. New Jersey has lost five of its last seven games, most recently a 2-1 defeat against the Montreal Canadiens last Saturday. Tampa Bay lost its previous meeting against the Devils, 4-2, on Nov. 19.
The Bolts follow Monday's game against New Jersey by hosting the Calgary Flames (14-13-2, 30 points) on Thursday. Calgary, though just No. 4 in the Northwest Division, has come on strong of late, winning six of its last eight contests. Thursday's is the lone showdown between the Flames and Lightning of the 2011/12 season.
