Lightning Tied At One At Scotiabank Place

The second period looked as if it would be more of the same for the Lightning and although there were many missed opportunities, one finally went in when Bruno Gervais put one in behind Craig Anderson after a quick wrist shot from the point. The goal is Gervais’s second of the season and Steven Stamkos and Marc Andre Bergeron had the assists.

Stamkos’s assist on Gervais’s goal extends his points streak to seven games which is currently the NHL's longest streak. Stamkos has five goals and four assists in those games.

Then, with 3:14 left in the second period, Ottawa evened it up with a Zack Smith tip in in front.

The Lightning currently have the lead in shots with 21 while the Senators have registered 19.
