Simon Gagne Out Following Neck Treatment

Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune is reporting via twitter that Tampa Bay Lightning forward Simon Gagne will not play in tonight's tilt with the Ottawa Senators after undergoing treatment to his neck. The injury is not serious and Gagne is only expected to miss one or two games.

Erlendsson also says goalie Dwayne Roloson will get the nod for the Bolts, and net-minder Curtis McElhinney is expected to make his second consecutive start for the Senators. McElhinney was acquired earlier this year by the Lightning in the trade that sent Dan Ellis to Anaheim but Ottawa claimed McElhinney off waivers when the Lightning recalled goalie Mike Smith. McElhinney is 2-1 with the Senators including a 35 save win against the Lightning last Friday, surrendering only four goals in his 3 starts with Ottawa.

For the Bolts, wings Steve Downie and Ryan Malone will not play with injuries, as well as Gagne and Defensman Randy Jones.
